Harlem, New York — Talladega College alumna and former Lady Tornado, Je'Nya Wilder '23, has been selected to participate in the prestigious HBCU Allstar Game, part of the HBCU Allstar Dream Classic Week. This momentous event will take place on August 10, 2024, at the historic Rucker Park in Harlem, NYC.
Je'Nya Wilder's participation in this event underscores her continued commitment to excellence both on and off the court. We invite the community to join us in celebrating her achievements and the rich culture of HBCUs at this landmark event.
What:
A select group of 40 players from Historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCU) and selected Northeastern Colleges will participate in an unprecedented All-Star basketball game. The event celebrates HBCU culture and will feature both Men's and Women's All-Star games, highlighting top-tier talent now eligible for NBA, WNBA, ABA, Big 3, European, and other professional league opportunities. The event aims to attract HBCU/College alumni, students, parents, and urban basketball fans.

Harlem-based nonprofit media company Bridging Structural Holes has been working tirelessly to create a memorable event that highlights the power of education and sports to inspire change. The Allstar basketball players, all of whom have earned their degrees, will serve as powerful role models for youth.
