There were seventeen HBCU's represented in this year's classic. The Tornadoe golf team was the only NAIA representative amongst the NCAA Division I and II participants. TC competed with division II, we finished third behind Winston-Salem State University (595) and Morehouse (612) respectively. Overall, the Tornadoes finished 11th out of seventeen.
Individually for the Tornadoes, the triumvirate of senior co-captains, were led by Jameel Martin (78-81) and Willie Brown (82-77), both finishing at 159. The remaining co-captain, Eric Davis, finished at 163 (80-83). Rounding out the Tornadoe contingent were Daniel Kirby (87-90) and Carson Camp (86-96) with 177 and 182 respectively. The Tornadoes look forward to improving and competing again soon.
